Portuguese floor tiles, with their beautiful warm colors and patterns, are found all over the world. FLOORZ specializes in the design and production of these genuine, handmade, authentic Portuguese cement tiles and patterned tiles. We offer both floor and wall tiles. We don’t sell imitation tiles with digital prints.

A conscious choice, because we’re convinced of this product’s sustainable properties and authentic look. Therefore, in our opinion, no other floor tile can match the warm and unique look of authentic Portuguese ceramic tiles and these cement tiles .

The production process for these handmade tiles has remained unchanged for centuries, and for good reason. No heat, dye, or chemical processes are used, and the basic ingredients are all 100% natural: water, marble powder, and organic color pigments.

Vloeren Impregneren

Een Portugese cementtegel is een natuurproduct. Net als een natuurteen vloer zullen ook deze cementtegels moeten worden behandeld met een impregneermiddel om ze afstotend te maken voor vuil en vlekken. Dit is een makkelijk klusje. Een tegelvloer koop je voor het leven. Een cementtegel is gebruiksvriendelijk en duurzaam te noemen. Door de jaren heen wordt je vloer, bij duurzaam onderhoud met de juiste onderhoudsproducten, eigenlijk alleen maar mooier en mooier en ontwikkelt zich een prachtig mat patina dat zo uniek en kenmerkend is voor Portugese plavuizen!

Het assortiment van FLOORZ

Ons assortiment bestaat uit nieuwe tegelpatronen en replica tegelpatronen. Veel van onze motieven zijn bestaande patronen die wereldwijd al voorkomen. In landen als Frankrijk, België, Marokko, Spanje en Cuba bijvoorbeeld. Maar daarnaast ontwerpen we in onze designstudio ook weer nieuwe patronen en designs. Dit kunnen dan nieuwe designs zijn in een eigentijds jasje of aangepaste motieven van vroeger ingevuld met nieuwe hippe kleurencombinaties.

We have new cement tiles in stock, as well as old ceramic tiles. It’s hard to believe, but if your perfect design isn’t among them, consider designing your own patterned tile. At FLOORZ, you can also design your own floor. You can literally choose from hundreds of colors and patterns. Suitable for both walls and floors.

All handmade and of the best quality.

Each cement tile is individually handcrafted in our own workshop in Vietnam. And for good reason. Vietnam was a former French colony, and the French brought this craft here. Now, Vietnam is the world leader in the production of these decorative floor tiles.

This is done entirely by hand. Using a pattern mold, the color pigments are poured in, section by section. These tiles are not fired, but pressed under high pressure. Therefore, the floor tiles must be treated with an impregnating agent after installation. This is a piece of cake, but it’s important!
